A Comprehensive Framework

Soft Skills are crucial for survival in Work 4.0. The use of English in mastering these skills are important to working populations across the world. The 21st Century Skills Framework and the Singapore Core Skills Framework provide solid foundations for the development of a broader range of ESL Soft Skills training materials.

Using this as basis, Business Jam has developed a range of English Soft Skills courses and training materials  that are designed to enhance your corporate training program by offering your employees the opportunity to gain valuable soft skills while practicing their English skills at the same time.

Skills and Competency Level

​

The Singapore Skills Future Framework clearly specify which skills are needed for a particular job in a particular industry. To be able to link core skills training to job requirements a clear distinction needs to be made between the different levels of competency for each skill. The SFF distinguishes between Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Business Jam adopted this classification and uses the SFF descriptions as reference for grading skills proficiency. Accordingly, all material can be linked to different jobs that require different competency level of the same skill
 

Soft Skills and English Second Language Speakers

Each presentation in the Business Jam Soft Skills Framework is developed with English Second language speakers in mind. For example advanced concepts are broken down into manageable English and Core concepts are highlighted in separate slides. Throughout practical exercises are included to facilitate active learning, and not just passive reception.

 

Modular

Our easy-to-deliver, modular courses and presentations can be used separately or in combination with other presentations to cater for a variety of training situations, such as weekly training meetings and once-off workshops.
